im getting star wars the old republic for Christmas Im a priest in wow so i wanted to know what the best healing class and spec

My Imperial Agent is only level 17, but I made him an Operative (the healing spec) and he's a blast to play. I played a holy priest in WoW, as well, and I'm loving the IA. The Operative is almost akin to a healing rogue...he has great heals and can stealth. He gets a big ol' rifle to blast away with and his secondary weapon is a vibroblade, so he can stab people in the back! I really like this class.

Oh, and he's definitely easier to level than a holy priest. I leveled mine back in the original WoW before talent respecs, so if you wanted to be holy, you had to level that way. It was kind of brutal. The Operative is the opposite of that!

Atm, the general belief is that the Jedi Consular is your classical priest class. This doesn't make all other healing classes weak, it's just a matter of mechanics and buffs/nerfs that will happen soon.

I've been using a Smuggler in hopes of becoming a Scoundrel using the Sawbones as a healing spec. So far it's pretty awesome, Although I'm still getting the hang of the Take Cover aspect.
